Now we are moving
Day 3-4: The Blessings of Obedience Reading: Deuteronomy 28:1-14
While we don't fast to earn God's blessings, this passage reminds us of the abundant life that flows from obedience to God. As we deny ourselves through fasting, we create space for God to work in powerful ways. Now we are moving!
Consider the areas of your life where you struggle to trust and obey God fully. Use this time of fasting to surrender those areas to Him.
Pray: Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen your resolve to follow God's commands, not out of duty, but out of love and trust in His goodness.
As you do, remain open to the ways God might want to bless and use you for His kingdom purposes. Amen

Fasting isn't about my hungry body and its desire for steak and hamburger, it's about my ? angry heart desiring to connect with God in a new way. Scripture says He draws near to the needy and meets us in our need. Psalm 103:1-5--
nWhat is of most worth to me?
nFasting and prayer positions me in a way that I have a renewed focus on the Lord.
Amen Sis. Well said.
